Hi all-
A quick post to highlight some of the books I read in January and peek at some of the reviews I’ll get to in Feb.
Blogging news: I’ve scaled back a bit. I’m now posting every other day, and oh, what a difference it makes. Two other things: I’ve become more selective in my requests and my acceptances of books. And I’m not reading two or three books at the same time. My sanity is back, or as much returned as it can be.
Here’s the best picks from Jan:
Upright Women Wanted by Sarah Gailey
American Sherlock: Murder Forensics, and the Birth of American CSI by Kate Winkler Dawson
Something is Killing the Children #1-4 by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera
And a look forward to some books I’ll be getting to in Feb…
February: Here we come! Are you reading any of these book? Any on your radar, or have you read any of them? Comment below:)
Enjoy a more relaxing blogging schedule! I let myself have a break earlier this month and not post every weekday and the recharge was great. Looking forward to your review of Along the Razor’s Edge, I’ve been debating requesting a review copy myself!

Yay for sanity! As much as I want to read and review all the shiny new books, it’s jist not worth sacrificing mental health for. Enjoy Titandhade!! That’s a fun one 😁

Glad the every other day posting is a better pace for you. Posting every day can be really tough to keep up with!

It’s been so much easier. Esp with reading graphic novels.
