Ok… school is just over one-sixth of the way done. We have 6 six-week grading periods… 3 per semester. Plugging along. I’m lucky to have a good group this year… 180 students or so. It took me awhile to memorize all their names!
In the book world… I had a great time reading a bunch of books for #SelfPublishingFantasyMonth. I was also a part of 2 blog tours. Looking back, I was fortunate to read some amazing books this month. I might have had more 5-star reads this month than any in the history of PaulsPicks.
In my head I’ve been trying to make a list of three or so, but I’m just going to put up all the great reads:
Heaven, My Home by Attica Locke
A Creative Review of The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
A Little Hatred by Joe Abercrombie
The Bone Ships by R. J. Barker
Here are some books I’ll be reviewing in the next month:
What are you reading this month?
Ooh- Ghoster- excited to see what you think of it! I have no idea what I’m even planning to read this month because I have too much on my plate.
A Little Hatred… Into the Crooked Place… People of the Lake… The Outside… Fountains of Silence…
I’m not overcommitted at all.
Nope. Not me.

Ghoster was an interesting read to say the least… didn’t really know about the supernatural aspect until it happened!

Oh awesome! I didn’t realize there was a supernatural aspect either.

Those look like some good books! I have like 5 that publish on 11/5, so I’m reading those now.
