Alert. Alert! I have finally used my library card to Hold books. Yes, books (mostly graphic novels) are traveling from all over the county to my branch for my reading pleasure! Also, I used my library card to sign up for Hoopla. More graphic novels. Score!
December was a very fun month of blogging. I rolled out my ‘Best of’ posts, reviewed some great graphic novels, a couple ARCs and a few personal reads.
Here are my Best Of posts:
Best Reads of 2018: Nonfiction
Best Reads of 2018: Speculative Fiction
Here are my Best Reads of the Month:
Echo North by Joanna Ruth MeyerBlack Enough: Stories of Being Young & Black in America Edited by Ibi Zoboi
Looking to January: I have some ARCs to read for late month and Feb releases.
Happy New Year!

You’ve got some amazing books queued up for January! I wanted to be caught up on Salvatore’s latest series, but unfortunately didn’t get the chance to read the first book! Hope you enjoy these and hope you’re having a good time on your vacation! 😀

I hadn’t read any of his past in that world, and I don’t think you need to to understand Child of a Mad God.

I’m happy to see Echo North on the list! I requested it super late, so I’m crossing fingers that it gets accepted. 😀 Happy new year, Paul!

Parts of the worldbuilding was very succinct, others were not. And that was ok. Helped the atmosphere. I think it’s going to be a good sleeper.

Also, check if your library does the Hoopla app. Great way to try out brand new texts. Some counties allow 5 and some 10 checkouts per month.
