Lines of succession and castles aflame.
The Last Siege is a tale of a raging conflict over a lone citadel that will not bend to rule. A lone man arrives with a letter deeming him ruler of the realm while others are trying to usurp the throne from the 11-year-old daughter of the last lord. Sword fights, flights of arrows, and stubborn wills. Backstabbing, bribes, and a decent backstory that shows good character depth.
The highlights of this one include tremendous details in the fighting scenes, and some very good illustrations.
Overall a decent story that reminds me a many medieval fantasy books I’ve read. If you’re looking for quick graphic novel with some strong characters, pick this one up.
Adding to my list. How many volumes are there?

Sounds nice and pretty. Never enough medieval fantasy books out there. 😀

Ha! True. It reminded me of a lot of other books, but the art was very good. Dark though.
