Looking Back on Oct. and Looking Forward to Nov.

October:

It seemed like a rather quick month. I read some very good books, and started expanding my love for graphic novels.

I hit two milestones in the last week on my blog: 200 Followers and 200 Posts Published. These two go hand in hand. I want to thank you for all your support. I continue to have a great time interacting with my fellow bloggers, various authors, and friends in the virtual and ‘real’ world about our love of reading and books. Happy Reading!

Here are some of my starred reviews for the month:

Stealing Life by Antony Johnston

Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse (Mini Review)

Someone Like Me by M.R. Carey

El Deafo by Cece Bell (Graphic Novel Mini Review)

Dread Nation by Justina Ireland (Mini Review)

Gunpowder Moon by David Pedreira

One of Us by Craig DiLouie (Mini Review)

To Kill a Mockingbird: A Graphic Novel by Fred Fordham

Looking Ahead to November:

AmReading: I loved The Remaining series by DJ Molles, and he’s just released the first book of a new series for Harden his main character. I bought it and started it last night. Very good so far.

Harden

ARCs: I have one that will be released in mid-November and a couple at the beginning of December.

Graphic Novels: There are still some graphic novels in my local libraries that I need to get my hands on in the next month. Stay tuned for those!

Personal Reads: And there are several books that I’ve picked up along the way that I want to get through. See below…

Have you read any of these? Or can you recommend any good graphic novels I should look for? Let me know:)

Thanks again for all your support!
